Year of New Beer: Hopfish IPA, Flying Fish Brewing (NJ)

Very understated nose with only traces of biscuit malt and mildly floral hops. On the tongue, the hops are slightly more citrusy with a bit of soapy character, but not to the point of being detrimental. The malt backing is moderately sweet, with a touch of caramel. This is a slightly ramped up version of an English IPA, and one that I found to be very easy drinking.
