Year of New Beer: Bourbon Aged Stout, Innis & Gunn (Scotland)

The fourth of five beers I picked up from this brewery. Light bourbon, oak, vanilla, and a bit of cola on the nose. On the tongue is a caramel sweetness, some dark fruit, mild chocolate, and traces of oaked bourbon. Very meager compared to the barreled stouts of the American craft breweries, but one that would be quite enjoyable in a Scottish pub.
