Year of New Beer (Rnd 2): Goldrush Cider, Country Boy Brewing (Lexington)

CBB has done several ciders, and up to this point, I haven't tried any of them. Just never cared for the style, usually finding them too sweet. But after hearing this one described as leaning to the tart side, I decided to give it a go. Tart apples and berries fill the nose, with maybe a touch of apple cider vinegar. On the tongue is again tart apples that stop just short of puckering as a touch of sweetness hits the tongue mid-palate. Crisp and dry on the finish. Did I like it? Got a half-growler to go.
