Year of New Beer: Double Dry Hopped Stillings Street, Trillium Brewing (MA)

Barely a week old, the nose is straight juice, as tropical fruit and citrus skins abound. Grapefruit, guava, a little melon, and slightly dank grasses all work the olfactory nerve. These elements transition beautifully to the tongue, where the initial tartness of the fruit is joined by a softer, sweeter white grape thanks to the Nelson Sauvin hops. Dry with a pithy orange peel on the finish. Alcohol is virtually undetectable, making this delicious beer even easier to drink. Outstanding.
