Year of New Beer: 225th Best Bitter, Country Boy Brewing (Lexington)

Slightly floral with a bit of toasted grain on the nose, accented by a light apple skin and damp earth. On the tongue, an earthy bitterness joins bread crust and a trace of nuts, all of which linger through the mid-palate. A touch of grainy sweetness and a decent amount of floral hops toward the finish. Very solid beer.
