Year of New Beer: Confessional IPA, St. Joseph Brewery (IN)

Delivering as promised, this one features notes of grapefruit and melon on the nose with just a bit of bread crust in the background. Very much the same on the tongue, with the fruits coming in as slightly bitter grapefruit up front and a softer melon note mid-palate. The bread crust carries just a bit of spice, almost like a rye husk. Citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Very nice IPA.
