Year of New Beer: Whiskey Barrel Stout, Boulevard Brewing (MO)

Whiskey, cola, plum, and chocolate on the nose. On the tongue, whiskey rushes headlong into burnt sugar, roasted malt, and an earthy, sticky hop bitterness. Oak and dark fruit throughout. Very sweet with a ton of whiskey on the finish. Pretty solid for the price.
