Year of New Beer: Resilience IPA, Country Boy Brewing (Georgetown)

Written By: Dion on 12/21/2018

Sierra Nevada supplied the ingredients, and Country Boy, along with over 1000 other breweries across the U.S., provided the manpower. The resulting beer is an old school, malty, West Coast IPA that will benefit the recovery efforts of the areas of California ravaged by this year's wildfires. Solid citrus, light pine, and toasted bread crust aromas transition seamlessly to the tongue. Nice bitterness against caramel and bready malts and a bit of a spicy finish. Nicely done. I'll be skipping a little haze over the next few weeks so that a some of my beer dollars can go to a good cause.
