Year of New Beer: Bean's, Atrium Brewing (Louisville)

Is this beer with coffee in it? Or coffee with beer in it? I think the argument could be made for either case. The coffee in the aroma is just ridiculously huge. Nominal notes of baker's chocolate and charred malts are present, but they do little to shift the focus. The transition to the tongue hammers home the bean theme. Roasty bitterness throughout, with hints of dark fruit, a touch of vanilla, and a very disguised alcohol. And coffee. Lots and lots of coffee. This is very well done.
