Year of New Beer (Rnd 2): Persimmon Lambic, Upland Brewing (IN)

My first Upland sour, and man is it tart. Full disclosure--I don't think I've ever tasted persimmon, so on that note I can't comment. But I do know this is very tart and acidic on the nose, with sour juices and fruit peel in abundance. Much the same on the tongue, puckering and drying the mouth as the fruity acidity pummels the taste buds. I'm loving this style more and more.
