Year of New Beer: Identity Crisis, MadTree Brewing (Cincinnati)

Citrus peel, pine, and roasted malts intertwine to make up a fantastic nose. On the tongue, orange and grapefruit pith ride alongside a charred grain and smoke, with traces of coffee and bitter chocolate. Is this a black IPA or an earthy, hoppy porter? I don't know, but it's delicious.
