Year of New Beer: Morning Cloak, Jackie O's Pub & Brewery (OH)

An initial hit of tangerine quickly gives way to a dank, boxwood punch. On the tongue is a light herbal bitterness with a touch of citrus zest and a slightly sweet cereal grain. Dry and grassy on the finish. Like most session pales, this is a little one-dimensional, but would make an excellent pool beer.
